Open Discussion / BYOC Analog Delay
August 29, 2017, 06:44:43 PM
This is probably the third or forth build of mine from about ten years ago. It was a challenge for me back then to build and set. It must have fell at one point cause I have had to change the dpdt switch and a have a loose connection or two so I'll need to reflow solder. It works but I have to reset all the trim pots. This was a bitch as you can see all the trims but it is a beautiful sounding Analog Delay. BYOC did this one right, it's still available and probably one of their originals when they started offering full kits.

Awesome build man, the color and decal are great. Did you use a pre drilled box from PPP

Mouser just notified me that the low esr valued 47uf caps are in and the same for the mlcc0.01ufs. They were also out of 10m resistors, all are in stock now and mine are on way to me

Just as the description says, I'm redoing my mood ring on a new pcb and I'd like to verify it wokrks still. I did so many mods on the original one that eventually the tabs broke off. Yes it did work quite well but the bird became a cluster duck from changing so many things

One can never have enough chorus pedal's. That looks great and intense, and Im glad it sounds fantastic. I got the Choral reef on bench to be built first.

Thanks for the explanation, so if you needed more voltage for bigger headroom your not getting it from this rail to rail chip. I like headroom,  TLE2074 it will be

I started ordering parts, some from SmallBear/Tayda and tonight is Mouser. I don't understand the rail to rail lingo but I do see the pin out is the same. Maybe I'll get a TL074/TLE2074 and the TLC2264 to compare. I watched the video from switching board link. These vfe's are some serious thought out effects. I'm still sorting out quirks on my Tourbillon and thinking I'm screwed if I have to trouble shoot this

I figured the reasoning was the all around quality, VFE's arent throwing in crappy noisey parts. Thanks
