Yet another fantastic batch of builds from you, Juan! Your work rate puts me to to shame :-[

Love the Hammertone one; a bit of a different style from you.

Wow, what amazing patience you must have! Which mods did you you use to accomodate the v3205s?

Sorry for the stupid question, but what is this a build of? I can't think of anything with 13 diodes.

Doh, sorry for posting stupid questions on this forum. The penny has finally dropped!

In a moment of clarity, I've also realised that "Selfdestroyer, Muddyfox, Juansolo and Pickdropper" etc, are probably not you real names and that England will NOT win the world cup!!

Nice build, Mate! My Sunking just arrived and I'm trying to decide which mods to do. I think I'll socket a couple of caps and keep it simple, though as this is my first Klon build. Can't wait!

What did you use for the 2- 1uf box caps? They look a little larger than your standard box cap.

Can you post a link to the ones you used please:). Pretty please:)!!

They look like the ones from Tayda, they are always a bit random.  I think they cut them up with a cheese slicer!

First of all, a big thanks to Pickdropper for getting a Nomojo board to me, thanks Bruv! Still waiting for 0603s to arrive before I can start that.

The good news is that I've started work on a couple of Muddyfox's boards and to my delight, I think I can do this SMD stuff. Redid the 0805 caps and resistors on the Zendrive 3 times before I was happy with my work. Definitely going to be doing this more!

I am a bit confused, still, with regards SMD diodes: M1, SS12, S1B-13, SMA, SMA-XL, DO-214..... I could go on! After googling the subject,  I was bombarded with so much jargon I was even more befuddled. Could anyone help clarify which of the above terms refer to diode type, to package size or to power/voltage rating?

Cheers, folks! Mark

Nice, classy work, Cody! I would love to have a go at building this one. How does it sound?

I had a quiet chortle to myself after you mentioned your etching problems! I had a go at etching my first box the other day after reading your tutorial. Unfortunately, only scan read the bit where you said to use used ferric, popped a shiny new 125B in a fresh batch......and fuck me it was like chernobyl! The box now looks like something off the road to Basra! Hey ho, onwards and upwards :-)

This is a great thread! I've just gone to Cody' blog - absolutely fantastic. So inspiring that I've just pulled my finger out and etched 8 boards in 2hours!! I've picked up loads of tips and downloaded a couple of your utility etches, too! Cheers Mate!

Gonna read the others throughout the week. Thanks everyone!

Wow, thanks for the replies guys and for the generous offers! Permission to PM you, Muddyfox, regarding the Zendrive. I live in the UK so would only be too happy to cover your costs.

Only time will tell if I have the patience/eye sight to do this but yes you're right, I won't be doing this on anything but a casual basis. I have little time for the "normal" stuff! Still, gotta give it a go!

Does anyone know of any SMD fx projects out there to either etch or purchase?
It's time to give it a go! I just missed out on Pickdropper's nomojo fuzz offer and wondered if it would be made available to purchase again? Cheers!
