I'd like to do the "Univibe" mod on a toggle switch, but I'm not totally sure what to do. The instructions say:

Quote• There are two pads outlined next to Q2. You can ignore these. I had intended this to be a mod for a "Univibe" switch but in my haste to complete the layout I accidentally attached them to the wrong cap. D'oh!
• If you want to do the Univibe mod make C2 10n and C3 100n.

Would I have to wire one switch to toggle both of those caps between these Univibe values and the stock values? Having trouble picturing how to do that.

Build Reports / Re: Alcohol Ink Enclosure Builds

These look superb! I have had good luck with alcohol inks but have never "set" the ink, other than with my usual enamel clear coat. Something to try next time...

Looks fantastic. Do you have a link for where to find that PCB by any chance?

That was the sound of many late-night flirtations in college.  :)

Main thing is I want to do it with at least live voice chat, preferably video. I'll check into this stuff. Thanks!
I was going to suggest a Reddit AMA until you said this. Might still be a cool thing to do sometime over on r/diypedals.

For video, I imagine YouTube would be your best bet, or FaceInstaBookGram, if you just want your own video and questions submitted via text. For true group chat, I think Discord or Google Hangouts.

I suppose group buys might be an option?

I'd be interested to learn the details on that. Unfortunately, it's a lot less cost effective to ship out a whole group buy's worth of 125Bs than, say, pots or 3PDTs like we used to do back in the day.

I'm going to say Not Small Bear or BLMS based on their responses over on DIYStompboxes. I think we are a thorn in the side of Mouser and Arrow. I'm going to go for an oddball - Stewmac.

You can't just drop a bomb like that and not explain as to what happened on DIYStompboxes. Not everyone goes there.

It's a jFet tester for measuring vgs. Looks like the one that came with the first version of the NomNom.
Ah ha, yep. That's what it is and where it came from. As it happens, I've got a use for this right away—convenient! Thanks.

I think you attached the wrong image.
Indeed I did, thanks. Must be a Tapatalk bug, because I used the "take photo" option, not the "upload from camera roll" option.

Any idea what this is? There is no printing on the back.

Bob, but I also readily answer to DVM. Long-time moderator over at the BYOC forums.

It wouldn't bother me. True, necks don't necessarily get removed for every setup, but I believe he's right that it's part of the design that they can be taken off without consequences. You'd most likely want to set it up or have it set up after purchase, and getting the neck positioned right could be part of that process.

That said, the most important factor is your own comfort. If you are concerned about it, and you think there's a chance you'll be disappointed and want to return it, I'd give it a pass. Good luck either way!

I haven't been on the forum in some time, and this was at the top of the list when I stopped by yesterday. I really do feel for you, having health with psoriatic arthritis for many years now myself. I am fortunate that it is well under control at present—a combination of reasons, I believe, including being on a biologic drug like yours.

Something I have learned is that suffering is a powerful teacher, and you now have access to a whole lot of empathy. Perhaps you will one day be able to support someone in need and turn this bad thing into something good. Anyway, that kind of thing can sound trite when you are in the middle of it. I am sorry you're going through it and I wish you all the best.

You been drinking pickdropper Dave's Kool-Aid, eh? Those do look nice.

Happy belated birthday. Thanks for all you contribute to the scene.
