Good work although I see you're deviating from your standard labeling technique!

Hey, Jacob, do you drill pre- or post-label application? Your shizz always looks mighty professional, at any rate...

62 and congrats to all you brave dads (braver than I at any rate)!

I'm not so much interested in the Boss things... but the other thing? Nah. I already have two of those.

Jacob

Wait until you are married a little longer.

Wouldn't the wife's purse be too full by then?  ;)

Josh, you kiss-ass mother***!!!

Just kidding. Kudos on the build and back-stage pass--you deserve it after the aquaboy work you've done AND managing the MN3005 treasure hunt.

Have you an authentic EHX DMM to A/B your dirtbag with?

Thanks, my question was about Brian saying not to connect lugs 2 & 3 together like the wiring diagram shows if I us the B250K with the 330k resistor. So that would mean (at least in my head) that one of the lugs wouldn't be connected to anything

I'm thinking you do not jump/wire lug 1 to lug 2 as doing so would essentially also jump everything to lug 3 (and each other) via the 330K resistors resulting in a fixed resistor instead of a pot. So just ignore lug 1 on each gang and wire 2 & 3 as per the build doc (I am SO assuming this is about a QuadVibe!).

You connect the 330K resistors between lugs 1 & 3 of EACH ganged pot of a 250KB dual-ganged pot to make a "100K-ish rev. log dual ganged pot." This is according to the Forum Vibe build docs. How a linear pot becomes rev log is beyond me...

You would then wire the dual ganged pot as normal; lugs 1, 2, & 3 (x2) to wherever they are supposed to go.

When I have tied a resistor between lugs 1 & 3 in the past, I tucked it behind the lugs in shrinkwrap and soldered it into the hole for each lug. That might make no sense but here's where I stole the idea. Just expand the concept to lugs 1 & 3.

O_O...would that work on writing over PCBs?! Man...the possibilities!! Thanks for sharing this man.

There's these for quick PCB repairs. But they lack the 'draw on paper' functionality of the pen above.

This may make prototype-etching a thing of the past!

The article alludes to the availability of inkjet printing ink that does the same thing...

It's pretty obvious that you have a legion of loyal customers that are ready to back you up... and with good reason.  You provide a great service and great products.

Yep. That about sums it up. And, in case I haven't said it before, thanks Brian!

Ahh the elusive fabb'd Mysterioso! That thing is more rare than bigfoot! Here's a quote from an old Sandman comic book:

"Um, what's the name of the word for things not being the same always? You know, I'm sure there is one. Isn't there? There must be a word for it ... the thing that lets you know time is happening. Is there a word?"

"Change."

Looking forward to the new shizz, Brian!
