Build Reports / Re: Low Rider: the Pearl Octaver
February 02, 2012, 03:09:56 AM
I have a violinist who has been searching for an octave pedal that would work for her. After doing alot of research I came to the conclusion that this just isn't possible without spending tons of money. But curiosity got the best of me and I built the lowrider anyways. I figured I would keep it didn't work for her. The day I finished it I took it over to try and it worked flawlessly. I was amazed! The oct up is meh... but with a little clean, a little oct down and a little 2 octave down it sounded like a full orchestra! This is by far my favorite build. Maybe i can steal it back to get some pictures. Anyway, Thanks Brian!

Tech Help - Projects Page / Glitterrattii LED Wiring
January 01, 2011, 12:56:16 AM
So I noticed most designs don't show the led wiring, so I have done what I usually do on other builds. I wired the negative to the top middle lug 2.2k resistor on positive lead of LED wired to DC jack. The LED worked, so I stuffed it in the enclosure, powered it on and it flickered then it wouldn't come back on.  The pedal still works great. So I replaced the LED just in case I shorted it out when putting it in and got the same result. So I took out the resistor after looking at some pictures of other builds and still no LED. Can someone point me in the right direction as I have a sunking I have to put a LED in too. Thanks !!!

Lol after sending several death threats and hate mail (j/k) my sunking finally showed up! Took me a about three hours to put it all together and it totally rocks!! I will start my own thread soon; having trouble getting it off my pedal board to take pictures. I can't stop playing it!!!
