Thanks a lot guys!

Really enjoying the time with this little dude. But makes me kind of sad that I lost this great experience with my first son since he had to stay in hospital after the birth for a while :(

I wouldn't say I'm big into boardgames but I like them for a change.  I really like the fantasy flight Arkham horror themed games.  Mansions of Madness (2e) was great, I have to spend some more time with it.  MOM(1e) was a little too complicated.

I love MOM, acctually I love all the cthulhu stuff ffg puts out. If I had to choose I'd pick Eldritch Horror over the others tho. But I have to say the minis really really suck. Really not so much fun to paint.

Did not realise that this thread is also for Boardgames. I finally recieved a few Kickstarter games from a year ago (when I had the cash for it :( ). Looking forward to try Dark Souls TbG, Kingdom Death Monster and Gloomhaven soon(ish). Those will be/are fun to paint :)

If you want to get into designing your own uC applications I would highly recommend learning C not assambler. For most hobby projects it really makes not difference and C is so much easier to get into.

.hex are already compiled. You only need to burn it in.
If you only have assambler code, that you need to compile I'd check youtube for a proper tutoriel:

Keep in mind that the PickKit works with USB Voltage which is 5V. 9V leeding to the overload indicator to light up is normal an you should avoid it while programming.

Sorry I can't help you with the rest of the Problem :( If you can generate a .hex file with SpinAsm you should be able to use Microchips IDE to programm it into your chip

Great build. You should try shielding the In- and Output. Mine did squeel if you turn it all the way up but below that I had no problems. Sadly my pedal had a little accident before I boxed it  :'( have to troubleshoot again

Thanks. Of course I'll get some PCBs made. I'll probably do so once I or a beta tester figure out the values to get rid of the tick.
Awesome, looking forward to this!
