Quote from: Micpoc on July 01, 2024, 11:30:41 AMFantastic! I guess it makes more sense to have the expression pedal input, rather than two separate effects.

This will be the main project. But, I'm not against doing occasional limited runs of the HB2 for those who really want the wah enclosure version.

In that case, I'll put in a request for the Harbinger(s).

I'm ordering the final prototype for the HarbingerX this week. It's includes expression pedal input. I'm hoping to offer a pre-made light shield with it, too.

Quote from: garfo on June 17, 2024, 04:14:14 PMHi guys, I thought that I should ask the Peeps opinions on where to look in order to improve a little issue.
I have a design that, as many pedals, blends the clean signal with the Distorted signal. For this, I am using a Pan circuit with an inverting opamp stage. The Center of the Pot connects to VR (2x 10k resistors with a 39uf filtering cap.
The circuit works really well, except that, when completely on the clean side, there is bleeding from the distorted tone when the gain is up. I thought that the 39uf cap would be enough to filer everything, but it doesn't seem to do the trick.
I guess the question is, any idea where to look?

You may need to set the blend control so that the distorted path is grounded when turned to fully clean. Regardless of a cap in-between, if there is series resistance b/w the two halves of the circuit there can be some bleed. If you can post the portion of your schematic with the blend control it would help.

Quote from: RoadDawg on June 21, 2024, 10:58:52 PM3PDT-05? Is that part of Byp24? I've been waiting on those because I have a couple of unfinished circuits that I want to run at 18v.

The BYP24 is a board that will be included with certain projects where the SSBP and SSABP won't fit. I'm trying to get every project compliant with a bypass board that can be used with a ribbon cable to minimize wire stripping, etc.

Anyway, I will redo the 05 board that works with the new wiring scheme and has the RoadRage circuitry. Just haven't done it yet. If you need a few of the older 05 PCB just PM me and I will get some on my next order.

Quote from: BricksnBeatles on June 21, 2024, 08:04:08 PMStoked about that restock list! Especially cool to see a new HoneyDripper revision!

Are any of the flangers— Collosalus, Current Lover, Fraudhacker, or Kingmaker -laid out for 125B (stacked boards?) by any chance?

Any changes between the new 2024 versions and the previous most recent versions of the Burly Bear, Charlatan, Kezurokai, or Tone Virus?

I did not do any 125B conversions for the flangers. I'm not against the idea but it wasn't really on my radar.

The Charlatan has only minor updates to the layout. The Burly Bear, Kezuokai and Tone Virus are completely new layouts. The last two have been converted to 4-layer designs and the control placement is now more or less identical to their commercial counterparts. I did it that way since they both have a lot of controls and it just made more sense to keep it consistent. Plus, all the toggle switches are now slotted pads for a snug fit instead of the huge round pads I had on them before.

Quote from: jessenator on June 20, 2024, 05:24:08 PMNice! Is the 3080conv an adapter board for a LM13700?

Any estimate on the Oracle?

Thanks!

It's for the HoneyDripper. So, you can use either two 3080 or a single 13700. It will be included with the HD purchase.

I can add the Oracle to the next order. If anyone has requests list them here and I'll do my best to add them first.

Here's the list of restocks coming in a couple of weeks. Mostly modulation. My plan is to have new restocks every couple weeks until the store is fully stocked again.

Open Discussion / Re: Multiturn Trimmers?
June 12, 2024, 03:30:00 PM
Each complete turn is about 1/25th of the total resistance value of the trimpot. Som there's no resetting. They are just more convenient when you need super fine adjustments, like with calibration and biasing certain circuits.

This is EXACTLY what I was going to say!

Brian, is everything currently marked SOLD OUT eventually going to be restocked, or are some effectively discontinued like the ones already marked so? I am particularly curious about the Current Lover and the Trash Compactor.

The only things that may be discontinued are projects that have been moved to the Standard Series. Current Lover will be in the first batch of restocks. The Trash Compactor is going to the SS and the new layout is already done.

The older projects are mostly going to be unchanged, just updated with my new library parts and drill spots changed slightly for a millimeter grid. Also, I'm trying to make them all compatible with either existing bypass boards or including extra ones certain projects. The two that are getting redesigned are the Kezurokai and Tone Virus. I've done new layouts for them to conform to the exact control placement of their commercial counterparts. I apologize for taking so long. Available funds are also an issue since there are so many to re-do.

Six new projects are out today. Plus, a shipping deal for both domestic and international customers!

Since someone will ask, re-stocks of older projects will come at the end of this month. I needed to get the new stuff finished up first.

Thanks again guys. I'm going to get on top of this later this week. I'll either get it solved or look into migrating the forum. This is beyond dumb.

General Questions / Re: interfet 2N5484 Pinout

Go with the pinout as indicated in the first image. In general, the source and drain are interchangeable. So long as you have the gate right you should be good.
