Very clean job! If you do try other clipping diodes, I suggest a pair of infrared LED, they are my faves in this circuit.

stahhhhhhhp.

Please stop using up cheap Russian diodes with a .27 forward voltage telling people they're magic in some stupid overdrive pedal, they're more useful in designs that need the lower forward voltage.

^this, so much this^

You can also use half a LM13700.

Not gonna lie. I would totally build a pedal that only made that sound.

Tap tempo phasers among 30 other projects??  This is going to make it quite impossible to finalize my pedalboard anytime soon..
Pedalboards can be finalized?! I had no idea!

Thanks for the help.
I'm putting together a clone of the Devi Ever Soda Meiser and apparently if you flip one of the transistors the Soda Meiser becomes the Vintage Fuzz Master so figured might as well have both in one box :)
Wish me luck!
Its worth the effort. I've done a few this way. They are different enough and  both great.

I'd like to build this. Your ebay store won't let me check out to ship the the US though.

I have no idea what it sounds like so now I have to look it up. It looks good and really clean. I'm working my way up to bigger builds like this, and you are making me want to challenge myself.
This was a nice and easy project. And quite affordable considering he includes the special switches and vactrols with the board and ships from overseas. It makes all kinds of synthy sweepes, laser beams, phaser sounds, sample/hold, and autowah. As well as a full range static resonant filter, like the Harmonic Energizer. I can't recommend this project enough.

I really enjoy this one. Basically a Mutron without the envelope. Instead its run by the 8 waveform StompLFO chip. HUGE range on the controls all the way up to oscillation. The Sample/Hold and Random Slope waves are especially nice. But mostly i think i like it as an alternative to phase shifting.

I'd be into building this version. The II is my favorite.
