Hey guys!

This is my White Rhino (EgoDriver). It is a new out of an old build. It has the following capacitor types and clipping diode on it:

C2: Silver Mica
C6 & C8: Panasonic Film
C7, C9, C10: Tantalum
C5: Ceramic
The rest are 50V rated greenies
D1: BAT41

I've built a few of these and every one of them has different types of caps and diodes and to me this combination is by far the best one! Here's a YouTube video:

The controls are Temper (Volume), Rage (Gain) and Huff (Tone). It has a Roar (Bypass) switch and an Attack (HP/LP) switch.

The SunDrive is for a friend of mine and it is the GGG modded TS808 with the boutique mods but with symmetrical clipping. I didn't care much for the asymmetrical configuration. He chose the entire theme concept of a Mayan Calendar and a flamming sun and then he kinda started thinking about 12-21-12 and all that stuff so it ended having the date on the clipping diode selector switch and Intensity, DOOM and Stone controls.

I know the Keeley is based mostly on the Ross and tonepad has a project for it, but wouldn't it be cool to have a madbean board for a Keeley? The 4 knob version? that would be awesome Brian!

Hey guys!

I did this one I while back for my friend (I didn't even know how to use graphics at the time  ). The enclosure is a custom drilled, custom brushed finish by PPP. Orange LED. To me it sounds fantastic! Very clear tone and subtle overdrive. My friend loved it!

Hey guys!

This is an OCD I built for my friend Johnny. He chose the colors and I came up with the 50's theme car and font for it   he liked it! It was my 7th build so I engraved a number 7 on the back.

I wish my wiring was cleaner in this one but then again is not bad either...but hey, it works!

I made the HP/LP switch into a footswitch (LP: off, HP: ON) and added a color changing LED for it, looks crazy!   The main LED is white (seems blue in the pics)

I had to add a 33uF across the color changing LED cause it sounded like a goat when it changed colors  
But, worked like a charm! The cap filtered out the noise and now looks pretty cool!

Hey guys! (first timer here  )

I recently built two EgoDrivers, one for my friend and another one for me. I decided do build the second one on a protoboard first so I can do come component experimentation but I have a problem. For some reason when I adjust the GAIN pot maybe past three-quarters I get a high pitch whistle sound that persists all the way until I hit the max setting. It doesn't go away until I roll it down. I replaced the 220pF cap across pins 1 and 2 on the IC (C2 on the schematic) with a 470pF and that fixed the problem, however I know that if you replace a higher value cap in there you get less gain out of it.

Have any of you guys seen something similar to this?

I'll be glad to hear any suggestions or ideas from all of you wise people
