So I finished another CBG that my Dad did inlays and shaping on. It's on the auction block tomorrow to help raise money for my kids school art and music program. Apparently the 10's of millions of taxes paying New York City residents pay still can't keep art and music rooms filled . This thing sounds incredible and pains me to let go but I have a few already. I think Jon Patton won one in the pifmas from me and someone else got one a few years ago too.

Help, I'm about to test my j201's and I need a TL071 or Similar. I can't find those in my stash of coarse but I do have a TL082,JRC4558D and NEC5532. A quick internet check says those are good audio subs but I'd like to get a Amen from guys I trust over here. I'll try and do a short video and post today or tomorrow

So for kicks I picked up this pedal, I only have a DIY Helidito ll I built years ago. I wanted a original BossCE-2 but didn't want to spend$$$. This is the one that's built just like the Boss but WHO made it??? There isn't much on the internet on these except for that it could have been made by Boss themselves, Pearl? Doesn't matter, it's a really nice pedal and worth the price. I might Change out the electros for audio grades and some of the chicklets. I did the Fromel mod on my BF-2 Boss Flanger and it did the trick

  like a moron I decided to metal stamp my original Reverb from BYOC. I was planning on giving it as a gift to my friends kid who is getting good army guitar and we all know kids don't have money for squat. She's already in a HS band and I long term loaned her a custom Black Joe Stummer Tele I built. Pedal played great till I stamped it I already reflowed my solder joints, swapped out the TL072's. I have clean bypass signal and when engaged I have even cleaner boosted signal. Now there is a kill switch which cuts the Reverb and you have exactly that, a booster pedal. I jumped the switch but that wasn't it. BYOC PDF that I have doesn't have voltages on schematic so I was wondering if anyone can point me in a direction as to what to look for in voltages. The fact that I have a both outputs has me confused. I just got back into building( life through me a curve) I just finished Rej's Nevrosa, and have Moodring, cardinals tremolo and a bunch more lined up to finish

I am building the yellow shark, Thanks to Haberdasher I have to put in a order for some parts and I wanted to know If I can substitute the 1N4007 with a 1N4001 or the Schottky 1N5817. I have a bunch of those and if I can save a buck or two it'd be nice

 ???With only 5 days left of Feburary when will we see the Collosalus? With all the baby boards that just came out can we see a baby flanger in the future as well

I have to start posting builds from boards Ive etched of Madbeans designs. I just finished the Cosmopolitan up yesterday and it fired right up. What s sweet pedal, three stages of necessity in a box, I get my jfet boost, my bc109 silicon fuzz and last but most Importantly is the AC127.
I had primed it for paint and then screwed up, so I left inside but stripped it back down and lacquered it. I haven't chosen knobs but might go with small greenish ones. This is my fourth build of Madbeans and I'm going to do the mxr 117 as soon as its available. I socketed the BC 109(224 HFE) in case I wanted to up the gain, I have a BC109 w 344 HFE and another with 434. If anyone has tried it let me know, if anyone wants to know how it might sound with it let me know, Ill try it out.
