16mm pcb mount, long & short pin, lugged 55 cents each!

Just built this uni vibe, getting the effect but also a kind of static-y 'frying bacon' sound pulsing along with the effect. Power issue or something else?

Anyone know any good projects for them low hfe germaniums?

Found a seller on ebay who has a good amount of these chips for anyone building a compressor or other pedal, uk based, I personally have had some of this seller in the past and was very happy.

I think we've all been there...nearly finnished a build and youre 1 resistor short, you have it in 1/8W but unsure whether or not to use it...my question Is it OK to use either wattage in a build. I always thought maybe effects that require more than 9v should use 1/4W no matter what. Could somebody  clarify this for me thanks.

Is there a difference between the DPDT ON-ON-ON and the ON-OFF-ON or are they the same

is there a range where its ok to sub in resistors ie, a 510r instead of 470r, like is there a comfortable range to stay within eiher side of the value you need or is it all circuit dependant.

If you build an effect and it works but then when you put it in an enclosure you get a high pitch whine/whistle (gets worse as you crank the knobs) and also does it on battery power, what causes this?

Any folks know any decent ebayers that do the external DC jacks, I know Tayda do them but i dont want to pay for shipping just for them. I'm in the UK.

Lately I've not been having much luck applying decals. I would place them on the enclosure only to find that a day or 2 later they can easily be peeled off. I've tried cold/warm/hot water 20 secs/30 secs/1 minute. Laser paper I get is off eBay UK sellers. Anyone got some good tips on this.

Where do you guys have the trim positions on the sharkfin AKA Maestro FSH-1?

Anyone successfully build one yet with the thinner boards, I tried 2 now and all i get is a clean sound on flange mode and a slightly distorted sound when on matrix mode. this is happening on both boards.

My friend wants me to fix his little shitty practice amp. You turn it on and you get this white noise over the signal. Now it's not tube so what could it possibly be? Bad cap maybe? Not opened it up yet.

My current lover has only clean effect. Im using a gen MN3007. Checked all my voltages as on the build doc, all ok but the LM324 pin 7 stated by madbean as 7.8V and im only getting 0.091. dodgy chip? what does this do in the chip anyways

The 2.2uf bipolar cap in this build, is that just a 2.2uf film or a special cap?

Can this project go in an ordinary 1590BB or does it have to go in the tall version as the template suggests in the build doc?

Would a 30pf and 270pf be ok as a substitute for the 27 and 270pf.
