Anyone here know where to find the best prices to Canada. I found some on ebay that are about $10 shipped with 2 3pdt switches. But they are raw unfinished and the last one had a stripped bolt hole. I really like the ones I got from mammoth, but they charge more for shipping than the enclosure.

Thanks

Build Reports / Mayo Mudbunny
November 23, 2013, 07:34:44 PM
Finally I can post a full build, I still have one that I must have killed and another that I need to add a switch to.

BUT here is the one I built last night. Took me only 2 hours but I have plenty of practice from the "other" builds. I plugged it in and it worked first time without any issues. Sounds great. The last Mayo I built that I still cannot add a switch to has some volume issues where I have to turn it at least 50% to get any sound.

here are some pictures:

Tech Help - Projects Page / 3PDT Stomp Switch Help
November 19, 2013, 06:35:52 PM
So I have my Mudbunny running and finally tried and tried with these darn switches.

I ended up just getting the 1776 3PDT Boards, But still no good, I think the Switches might have melted on me. I got upset and tore apart the switches. I wanted to check if the poles inside were fried.

I found one pole on each switch was melted and pulled out a little. I have one more Switch (new) and about 8 3PDT Boards.

If the switch is a little melted would this case the no sound issue. Of the 2 I tried 1 gave me no sound at all (it was the top center pole that was melted) and then the other was just a loud screeching noise, that I could change the tone and volume when on (Right side middle pole)

Thanks

General Questions / where to find 3pdt pcbs?
November 07, 2013, 04:27:33 AM
Can I purchase the pcbs for a true bypass 3pdt from here? I have been buying on e-bay and mammoth but shipping seems to cost a lot.

Thanks.

Tech Help - Projects Page / PNP Fuzz power

Probably a dumb question, but could I just change the polarity on the DC plug for a PNP fuzz pedal? Like connect the negative to the positive on the jack?

I am guessing it will create problems seeing it seems like the easiest way.

Tech Help - Projects Page / MudBunny issues

I have tried to build two of these now and both don't work. Tried the rams head then the Mayo. I am building both directly from the website values. The only thing I think is that the 500pf caps and the 10n cap are very small so I don't know if I got the wrong type. Do they look right for the mayo pics? I have also read that using the BC550 transistors I might have to have them the other direction ?

This is my first builds so Im sure I did more things wrong. The first one is the rams head before I added the last resistors
