Oops, I need to print a new sticker, I just noticed it says "build by own wah" not "build my own wah."  It's just a color laser print on vinyl sticker stock from Amazon, with a top layer of extra thick packing tape to make it shiny (metal ass.)  Took maybe 10 minutes to draw in Inkscape.

Nice all round, but that wiring is the bomb  8)

Thanks!  I use mil-spec aircraft grade wiring from Aircraft Spruce for all my projects. It's actually pretty cheap, really nice quality, thin but durable insulation, very heat resistant for soldering.  Good selection of colors.  Flexible enough but holds shape well. Their pricing on small screws and fasteners also really good.

Also - No zip ties, I hate zip ties. I use them temporarily to get things in position, then I use waxed wire lacing and make spot ties, and cut off the zip ties.

Build Reports / It's my wah and I'll cry if I want to.

I bought a CGB-95F Cry Baby "Classic", and despite it claiming to be true bypass, had terrible tone suck when turned off.  Whole thing was SMD and had a bunch of JFETS for switching, so much for "Classic."  So I turned it into a Weener.  At least I was able to re-use the inductor.  My graphics aren't as fancy as some of yours but I'm happy enough.  I CNC cut a replacement baseplate without a battery cutout for better shielding.

I highly recommend "Pure Tone" brand instrument jacks, especially on anything that gets moved around a lot.  Well worth the extra $.  I retrofit all my guitars with them.
