That's so so helpful thanks. My cheap soldering iron broke, I think it burnt out, so using an old one with a bigger top :(

General Questions / Uh oh, is it screwed?

Building and egodriver and I have a feeling i burnt the circuit board. the solder ring for C3 had come off, it's gone a bit black, and the solder won't stick. I really need a solder sucker

I opened it up to have a look, but being a reasonably cheap pedal, the board is impossible to take out =( I don't think it does it on a valve amp

I also used 1/2 watt resistors, the shop had a crap selection of 1/4 watts, will that change the sound? Or will it just have a better power resistence?

Yeah it's true bypass, using a power supply but it also does it running off the 9v

It's not as bad now that I moved the pedal to the last pedal

Open Discussion / my pedal clicks through the amp
March 21, 2011, 11:30:04 PM
When I turn on my Modtone delay and Vox wah the click of the switch can be heard through the amp, it's annoying as hell, anyway to fix this? Or is it because I'm using a solid state amp
