Thank you.  I was going crazy probing this thing.  Was waiting till I had a mouser order to get a chip from there, so I'll just put this aside until then.

Mods / Re: is this mod possible on the dig dug 2

I can't find the video of the one I saw awhile back.  Here is one that uses  a guitar and ebow
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KUXRAExVoJI

I guess this type of circuit is over my head.  But with the example above
, instead of playing an ebow, I would like to play through a fuzz pedal and then have that sound fed into the sequencer.  It's sounding like this may not be possible with this pedal.  I

Sorry probably not saying things right. Awhile ago I saw on YouTube, can't find the video now, a person had taken the baby 10 sequencer and made it a guitar pedal.   Basically it just sequenced whatever he played, there was no wah or trem sound.  I guess what I'm trying to do is make it so whatever I play doesn't have a wah sound or trem sound, it would be just a clean signal being sequenced.  I hope this makes sense, I suck at explaining things.

Mods / is this mod possible on the dig dug 2

Hello, what I'm looking to do is have the dig dug sequence only the guitar signal, i.e. no wah or trem applied to the sequence.  Looking at the schematic I was thinking of taking a wire from right after the 2n5457 to a switch and then a wire to r15, the 10k resistor.  That way I could have trem, wah or signal being sequenced.  I would just try this but I'm awaiting my enclosure so the pcb is not all built up yet.  The question is what I want even possible, does this sound like it would work or is there a better way to do it.  Thanks for any help and insight, Mike.

Well I'm pretty sure my ad633 is bad.  Before I put the chip in I get -14.36 to pin 5 and 14.84 to pin 8.  As soon as I put in the ad633 I get -3.89 to pin 5 and -1.21 to pin 1.   I bought mine on ebay from china.  Does anyone on here have a seller they bought from that I can try to purchase from.  I know that's not always a guarantee but its better than stabbing in the dark.   thanks, Mike

Ok narrowed it down to the ad633.  When I put this in the lt1054 gets hot.  I assume I got a bad one from China.   Can anyone tell me why this chip would make the LT1054 get hot.  Thanks, Mike

When I get back home I'll trying pulling all the other ics and test it again.  When I checked the voltages the lt1054 was seeing around 14.77 I believe so the regulator was doing its job.  I checked that first to make sure the lt1054 wasn't seeing 18 volts, but maybe I'll check again just to make sure.  Won't be able check till tomorrow though.  Thanks for the input, mike.

Quick question, when I plug in my power supply(Dunlop 18v) the lt1054 immediately start getting hot.  I looked for solder bridges and the like but found nothing.  My voltages on the reg and lt1054 look good, not quite sure why this would start getting so hot.  Thanks, mike

Nice job.  Glad it worked out for you.

looking awesome.  I hate those gaps too, where did you get the fiber washers?  mike

Hey guys I built a small clone and everything is working great, except the hiss in the background kind of bugs me.  I was wondering if some mn3007 are noisier than others.  I don't have any extras lying around or I would try a different one.  Also does anyone here have any mods to lower the noise floor of this pedal.  One thing I did notice if I turn my amp down (which is fairly quiet noise wise) and dime my guitar volume the hiss from the pedal goes down considerably.  If I have to I'll use it like this because this chorus is the one for me, but I would rather not have to.  Thanks for any help, Mike.

Yeah preorder would be awesome here, that way I know I can partake in a few of these new projects.

Nice build.  Where did you get those knobs, I need ten of those exact ones but can't find them in clear.  Mike

On this one there is no 470r.  I know on an MKII that raising a the 470r helps, but I can't find one on this MKIII build.

I might be an idiot, I just realized I put in ac125 transistors.  Aren't the tab side supposed to be positioned opposite of the silk screen (collector is on the flange).  My voltages seem off to me but im not a tone bender expert.  they are as follows  (from the flange to the other side):
Q1: 6.02, 7.10, 7.82
Q2: 5.98, 7.37, 7.72
Q3: 7.00, 9.27, 9.29

Also if they are in backwards, the fuzz sounds absolutely great that way.  Does anyone know if that will hurt the transistor and if not is there a way to bump up the volume so I can leave it like that.  Thanks, mike
