Title: Mudbunny = Mad Professer Fire Red Fuzz
Post by: VooDOOM on January 10, 2011, 02:49:23 AM
I've been reading that this is a muff variant and was wondering if the Mudbunny pcb could be used? How does the mudbunny pcb compare to the gruntbox pcb? check out the following links.

it's seems to be pretty close. A quick glance suggests the last gain stage on the MP fuzz has a cap+resistor in parallel with another resistor, while the Mudbunny has only a single resistor. And the MP uses diode connected mosfets for clipping in the 1st clipping stage while the bunny uses actual diodes.

If you could figure out a way to squeeze those in, you'd have a clone after some part value substitutions, i think.
