Title: Sea urchin something slightly wrong
Post by: garfo on March 18, 2013, 01:39:40 PM
So, my sea urchinj works great, but I've accidentally noticed that when it is unplugged from the power it still lets signal run through. This is odd, if it's not powered how does signal go through???????It is way smoother than when in bypass, but still, makes no sense.

So you are saying that you unplug the power of the effect and leave it on the chain what let me assume that the difference that you complain is a buffered type

i think the problem is the wiring of the footswicth or the switch it self! the symptoms point to signal running in to the circuit!

Did you use the Madbean wiring schematic? do you a Digital Multimeter for a continuity check?
I would start from there.

And POP? do you have?

give feedback

You can still get a signal to pass on some opamp circuits when they are not powered on.  Nothing is wrong.
