Title: Grapevine C8 200pf vs. 220pf
Post by: jackbart1960 on December 24, 2010, 05:16:09 AM
I just unplugged the soldering iron after stuffing a Grapevine board and made one sub.
A 220pf instead of the 200pf C8 called for. I haven't even breadboarded the finished board so I have no idea what it sounds like yet, but wonder if this will have any impact on the circuit.

Not likely. It's 10%. Chances are, the rest of your caps are 10-20% tolerance anyway. I bet if you checked you'd find them close, but when I check my parts on occasion it's startling the swing in value I see.

Jacob that's what I thought. I just really didn't know what it was doing in there. But hey thanks for the reassurance. Be well.
