Title: sea urchin with (no) delay
Post by: papasaurus84 on January 14, 2013, 07:23:23 AM
hello,

i built a sea urchin delay and i have a similar problem with  http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=7686.0

i've checked everything and it seems okay. i plug the pedal to an amp and a guitar. i hear nothing but the dry signal only. but when i turn the delay pot, suddenly a tiny-whispered (nearly unhearable) delay is coming, and later, it gone. what is this? any clue?

i use a 9 volt power (9,32volt on DMM).
the output of 78L05 is 5,05 volt.
the voltage at 8th pin of TL072 is 8,96.

thanks before. :)

So, did you ever get this working??
I built up the Urchin, worked first shot. Biggest problem with this build is the close traces, very easy to bridge two traces.
