Haha perfect "pedal builder" test - if you notice the PCBs and not the girl then you've found the right forum ;)

You actually let her touch your pedal building stuff?????  ;) For some reason beyond my grasp, my wife is a bit scared of all the small components I have lying around, which is actually a good thing.... Prevents her from messing anything up! BTW, there is no soldering in our bedroom, I'm still building on top of the washing machine.... Lucky bastard! Cool post....

Just to be clear, that's her soldering and assembling the board. No help from me!
I did something right in a previous life :)

After I picked up my jaw from the floor, there's only one question left: what is she building? (BTW: having your girlfriend solder in the components does count for major Mojo...)

That's the board that she designed in Eagle and had sent in for prototyping at one of university board facilities.
It's a clone of the Schumann PLL - managed to get one on eBay and she spent a couple of days working out the schematic.
Funnily enough it fired up first time!!

Haha imagine!!! :D

It's the Ludwig Phase 2 board from RG.
Dino on Freestompboxes was selling them.

Major part count and this been sitting in my drawer for ages.
Quite glad the GF is on holiday so she's built it up over the past week.

Funnily enough she's taken quite a liking to it - she's built a couple of other boards to.

I made a start on the graphic for the Phase 2 but won't have time to finish it for a couple of weeks.
