Title: TubeFactor Rehousing: Very proud of this one :D
Post by: MattOcaster on October 31, 2012, 02:38:13 AM
What up guys,

My H&K TubeFactor has been my main go to overdrive due to its stunning pure tube tone.
However, it's bulky size and Factor 1/2 with arbitrary volume really bugged me.

So... Extreme Pedal Makeover!! :D

The 1590D was made for this pedal.
Used a 4pdt switch to give it 2 channels.

The drilling plan:

Kind regards,

Super neat job buddy. I recently rehoused a danelectro chicken salad. Rehousing is the way forward!

good work man.
Rehousing is really fun, except when you pull a crappy trace on a board....

I like the way your rehouse looks much better than the original!  :)

There are many methods, so it depends on what sort of look you are hoping for.

I might suggest ink stamping with white Staz-on ink.

Nice rehouse job!

My last rehouse was for my Radial ABY switcher........added buffers and other shizzle to it...

Very cool.  The tube factor is indeed a nice sounding pedal and your rehouse looks very nice.
