Title: 20K Audio pot for a Kokbox - Where to get them?
Post by: FuzzMonkey on November 17, 2010, 12:10:32 AM
Greetings All,

Does anybody know where you can get a 20k Audio for a Kokbox build? Note: I'm not based in the US (New Zealand) in fact.

Where do you usually get your pots? Are you using the Alpha 9mm PCB mount pots that are specified by the project? Where are you getting those from?

There are things you can do to other pots that will affect both the taper and the value. I forget where I usually find it, but there are pot calculators available to help you get a 20K audio pot from a 50k linear or a 25k audio or even a 100k linear.

Maybe try googling potentiometer calculator?

Thanks for the reply. I usually get my parts via Smallbear, I'd prefer to used the 9mm Alpha pots as outlined in the build but it looks like a case of needs must.
