Damn I love me some Lydian. It should be the key/mode for all songs.
No kidding.
Somebody posted this at BYOC a few months back. Everybody I show it to just flips out. The guy really pisses me off.

Cause he's so freaking good right?
I was impressed with him, then he started singing - doing all that complicated stuff AND singing, now that's blowing my mind.

I'm pretty sure he also uses some kind of octave-down on his vocals, at least in certain parts. It sounds awesome.

Agreed - I noticed that. It's so subtle, which makes it very musical.

That's nuts, I wonder how many strings he poped learning that technique. Incredible rhythm as well.
Erm... wow? :o :o
Have you noticed that his guitar is tuned with all the tuners in a vertical position. It helps rotating them quickly and exactly back at the same position.
Crazy skills. some of his tapping reminds me of one of my favorite players, Evan Hirshelman

tuck andress always made me shake my head and wonder how he learned that.
great video.
Amazing,,,
this is my favorite comment on the youtube video
"The guitar tab for this song are available from..." ;D ;D right....
Just what is the tab symbol for retuning on the fly ???
Outstanding. Watched and listened to the whole thing!
Wow!
It does piss me off that a guy with this much talent can go relatively unknown, yet that "Call me maybe" song is the biggest song in the US.
