Title: Deadringer switch connections
Post by: Boom on October 29, 2010, 04:09:44 PM
Hey guys,

I´m finishing up on my Deadringer and now planning the decal. I´m having difficulty understanding which switch connections, according Brian´s drawing in the project file, on the DPDT are CC, FM, or VIN.

I assume the middle position would be FM.....anyone have an idea about the others ?

When you make the label, use the original Fulldrive pedal as your example. Label the switch like that. Then, it's a matter of turning the switch the right way inside. If you look closely to the documents, you should be able to follow which one is which - orient your switch the right way and it should be fine! If you get it backwards, leave yourself enough slack in your wiring to turn it so it's right.

this spdt is ok for the fulldrive? http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?category=ALL&keyword=spdt&no=792&param_referer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.smallbearelec.com%2FCategories.bok&searchpath=2936990

if not, what spdt I have to buy?

thanks so much! :)

yeah, that's what you want.  you want an on / on, not an on / off / on etc.  you can even use a dpdt switch that's on / on if you already have one.
