Which caps did you all use. Is there some sort of guide to choosing the type of cap?

Nice. I remember seeing this before but completely spaced on it.

So now, any good explanations or guides on what caps are good for what purposes?

Anyone have a lead on a 47uf low profile electrolytic cap? They are on backorder at mouser. Should I just use a tant?

There are others small enough. http://www.mouser.com/Passive-Components/Capacitors/Aluminum-Electrolytic-Capacitors/Aluminum-Electrolytic-Capacitors-Leaded/_/N-75hqwZscv7?P=1z0wrk9Z1z0scdmZ1z0schgZ1z0scemZ1z0scheZ1z0scfcZ1z0schfZ1z1414hZ1z0t6fgZ1z0vhw8&FS=True

Or bend a regular one over. They're not that big.
