Title: The Black Adder (Dr. Boogie)
Post by: pickdropper on July 17, 2012, 12:27:30 PM
After spending more time than I'll admit on not very complicated graphics, I am pleased with the way this one turned out.  The graphics combined with the textured black enclosure fit this pedal pretty well, IMHO.

It's actually a laser etched finish.

Looks fantastic. Super clean, both inside and out. The laser etching is slick. Are you able to do this yourself or do you have to have a shop with the right equipment do it?

I do the layout myself in Adobe Illustrator and then etch it at work (when I can get access to the machine).  Most modern trophy shops can do it as well.  GrindCustoms (member here) has it done by a guy local to him for a few bucks an enclosure.

That looks amazing. The new layout for the Chunk seems to work well. Any noise issues?

It makes me kinda sad, though. Mostly on a 'I had to wire one up the hard way, so they should have to as well!' way.

Yep, that is correct.  I did this particular layout.  No noise issues yet, but I need to try it in a few different environments.

Congrats.  Looks badass.  Like that would be the Andy James signature pedal look.
