Title: More low end out of egodriver
Post by: NF Audio on October 02, 2010, 01:07:39 AM
Has anyone successfully substituted any values to get just a tiny bit more low end out of the egodriver? I'm digging it on bass, but just the tiniest bit more low end extension would be awesome!

Thanks madbeaners!

Nick.

For bass, try changing C1 to 220n and C3 to 100n. Should do nicely.

those mods work as well as changing the .047 (c8) to .056 or .068.  I've tried changing every piece on this circuit I think.  raising c8 seems to open up the top end a little as well though.

I think on the early versions of this circuit he had a 100n for c3 fwiw and people thought it was too bassy.  IIRC
