I just built a Aqua Puss to mk1 specs using the boards that were made on FSB.
See the Thread here. Its the red Mk2 board
http://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4216&p=172066&hilit=aqua+puss#p172066
having previously made the blue v1 (perfect).
I have an issue that bypass its fine, when switched in, it works all as it should. However, the volume is LOWERED a lot from the bypass.
This is quite a problem, as it means when you use the pedal, overall levels are dropped.
This is regardless of where the mix control is set. The straight signal is always there, as expected, and the repeats get louder as you turn it up of course, but the overall volume is less.
Fullly CCW, the straight signal is much lower.
Any tips what to check first?
Thanks
Part values.

Hey
Ive been round the board with a DMM, the parts all check out correct.
Dodgy Footswitch?
Otherwise I gotta go with wrong value or poor solder joint/hair.
Fixed by replacing Q1. Thanks bean (for advice on fsb) and thanks to you guys for the suggestions.
Now to tweak the clock :)
Pretty happy with this pedal.
Yeah I pulled out my old "Bluey" the other day. Still sounds tops! I've got a red one I still need to build up.

Yeah man great builds these, love it.
Very nice to know you can build something that at one point was commanding ridiculous amounts.
I added the modulation board to my second one (Red) sounds really cool!
anyone have a drill template or measurements for putting this project in a 1590BB? I'm finally getting around to finishing mine.
New one with mod board

Wet pussies FTW
Heres the measurements I used
You need to cut out with a dremel to get the lid on at the In and Out jacks.
See here.
nice clean builds!
