I did three times this boost and the 3 times I fail I can not find out what happens, I have a very sharp cry when I run ..
I do not get the max 1044 here, but use the 7660 that, according to the same
be so wrong? someone can tell me that will be happening ..
capacitors are all that you look at it a thousand times!

Herman, what kind of transistors are you using? Any chance they are in backwards?
I use the 2N5457 and is well placed, I do not understand why I have that noise ..
I think the truth is something with the GND but I find that is ..

Is the diode D2 installed correctly? I can't tell from the pics.
Can the 7660 have pins 1 & 8 jumped like the MAX1044? I know on the 1044 jumping 1 & 8 'boosts' the oscillation beyond human hearing & the FATPANTS board has 1 & 8 connected. Pin 1 on the 7660 is a NC which I think means it does nothing but the datasheet explicitly states jumping pin 1 & 8 on the MAX1044 does the boost trick and does *NOT* mention it on the 7660.
Any electronic engineers want to weigh in?

The problem was the IC 7660, sold five missed me, buy from another place and ready works perfectly.
