Title: Karate Shop LFO Modulation
Post by: raulduke on January 12, 2012, 05:05:42 PM
I just bought MusicPCB's Tap Tempo Tremolo and love the idea of having a really flexible LFO on a tremolo.

I thought it would be cool if a similar thing could be done with a filter pedal.

Would it be feasible to switch between the Karate Shop's Filter Pot and a Vactrol to control the frequency?

That way the Vactrol  on the karate shop could be fed from the lfo out of my tap tremolo pcb by adding a few wires and an external jack (and possibly a pot for a depth control).

This would make a pretty cool pedal IMO.

Check out the Electric Druid FilterFX. It is Mutron based i believe. The S/H mode alone is worth the build.
