While going through all of my pedal supplies, I found about 20 Opto-Tron boards from 1776. I have all the optical chips (H11F1).
My question is this: What is the benefit over regular bypass switch?
It's clickless and full of cool points. It is more expensive and has more parts, though.

I've only used it a few times but was quiet.
The main use for me was in effects that have an inherent pop when using mechanical bypass and a PDR won't tame it.
