Title: On a Fuzz Bender...
Post by: cooder on October 11, 2020, 10:14:13 PM
I'm on a Fuzz Bender at the moment... more fruits of a rainy weekend boxed up.
A Keeley Fuzz Bender based on Storyboardists schematic with the difference of having split the dual gang bias pot into to single B100K pots, so I can twiddle with the bias of Germanium and feedback loop of opamp individually.
Quite like that, gives it even more versatility and I do like extra knobbies and tweaks.
It is indeed a very versatile Fuzz that covers tons of ground and then a very efficient active tone stack to bend the tone around from brutal edgy to lofi nasal and anywhere.
Transistor is an Amperex 2N2430 that I got yonks back from Smallbear, now free to roam in a pedal again.

That is one sexy transistor. :)
Truly beautiful build Cooder.  Love how you make each circuit your own.
