Title: Harbinger two build problems
Post by: Spenzerleehorton on October 08, 2020, 06:46:59 PM
Hi,

Ive just built the harbinger two and having some issues.

first issue is the bypass, i can only have the effect on rather than bypassed, ive wired it as per the documents and it looks wrong to me?

Ive found a diagram which is correct and can see the errors so its not a biggie.

the main problem i have with the effect on is that the speed control doesnt work?
will check voltages and see if it can find out whats up!!

i can hear the effect, even though its very low in effect volume.

Changed 100k speed pot and still the same no speed and low effect, true bypass now correct.
Voltages on q12 seem about right but need to investigate a bit further

Getting quite a lot of movement on the voltages,  I know it mentions it but I still have no speed control and voltages on q12 and q12 seem about right, q14 looks off so I'll change that, also seem to be getting little sparks around the q12 area? Only sometimes when I test MM in that area?
Still none the wiser!!

Anyone got any ideas?

I've found the problem, the nsl32 were the wrong way round!!
Now the problem is the fast speed is pretty slow so is there anyway to speed that up?

Changing r52 to 470r and jumping r54 should sort it
