Dog sales/adoptions have skyrocketed in the US since the beginning of lockdown measures.

to expand on what benny said, the price has gone way up as well due to the whole supply/demand thing ... my inlaws are charging ridiculous prices for bichon frise, good while it lasts I suppose

I just hope folks know what they're getting into and realize that getting a pup is not a small decision.

I was expecting a query as to Juansolo's general whereabouts.

Have you looked for breeders in the national club website?

Cant help with a yorkie, but my friend is on the board (I think he still is anyway) of an organization that helps Spanish Greyhounds homes. They are the sweetest dogs I have ever dealt with. They aren't as giant as racing greyhounds, but they are still kinda big. If you want I could put you in touch.
