Title: CV build number 2 & 3
Post by: Thewintersoldier on March 31, 2020, 02:28:01 AM
Working in a hospital is depressing right now so I decided to build two pedals this weekend while binge watching season 3 of the Ozarks. First up is a fuzzdog magnavibe. Sounds nice and wobbly, I dig it.

Next up is an Elka Dizzy Tone built on a pedal pcb buzzaround. Slight variations in the schematic make a noticable difference to my madbean bumblebee. This thing rips. Thanks for the inspiration guys. Stay safe out there.

Nice work!  I think the knobs should have been labelled 'Groot?' and 'Groot!' though.  ;)

Ooh, big fan of both of these circuits. What changes are made to make a buzzaround into a dizzy tone?

Nice. What cans are you using in the Elka? I've got a couple of Buzzarounds that are WIP.

Q1 and Q2 are oc76 and Q3 3ax31c. hfe is Q1 51, Q2 52 and Q3 is 75. Leakage is typical buzzaround leakages. I had Steve at smallbear put the set together for me back in december and just got around to putting it together.

I just built this on a fuzzdog buzzaround board. It rips. Thanks for your help. I now have a new favorite.
