Title: Eqd ghost echo predelay
Post by: Thewintersoldier on October 25, 2019, 07:56:42 PM
Is there a way to dial out the preday completley? Stock has 30ms of predelay with the attack pot at minimum. Ideally I'd like it to start at 0. Thanks

The design of the PT2399 is such that it's not really possible to get delay times below 30ms in most builds. You'd have to bypass the delay portion of the circuit with a switch, I think.

Remove R9. From C5, one wire to a 10k resistor, other end of said resistor the the middle lug of an On/On switch. Connected one outer lug of the switch back to the other end of R9 on the board (the end that goes to R13). Connect the remaining lug of the On/On to R11, R10 junction. Switch makes the signal go between passing through the PT2399 or going straight to the BTDR-2.

Thanks Brian, I'm definitely gonna try that out. Im gonna breadboard it after I build my rub-a-dub deluxe.
