Title: deadringer popping...

hi friends!

My Deadringer pops when I switch it on.

How can I eliminate the problem? I've red I could put a 1M resistor from in to gnd and/or from out to gnd...is it correct? but I've not understood this method....

help me pleaaaase!!!

Increasing R1 from 1M to 2M2 might eliminate the problem.

Are you using high brightness LEDs, BTW?

yes Brian,

I'm using a high brightness blue LED for boost and a normal red for on/off....should I change the blue?

You could try temporarily disconnecting the blue to see if it eliminates the pop. If so, then trying putting a small electrolytic (maybe 2u2) in parallel with the two leads of the LED and reconnect it.
