Title: Spackler cap question
Post by: disconnector on October 09, 2011, 05:05:48 PM
Hi all,

I'm building a Spackler and I have a quick question.  The 22pf caps in the feedback lop of the opamps actually creates a slight treble boost correct?  So if I replace them with 47pf caps I'll simply be dropping the freq of the boost down a bit as far as I can tell.  Does anyone know how much change it will be?  I'm all out of 22pf and I can't find any locally and I hate to order just 2 caps from SB - I've got a pile of 47pf and there's not room on the board to double up the caps..

Thanks all!

actually, capacitors in the feedback loop of an opamp act as a low pass filter. if you don't have 22pf, 47pf will work fine.

Cool - I've got a special enclosure baking right now for this one.  I'll post her when she's done.
