Title: My first Sunking build.... Minotaur
Post by: irmcdermott on September 22, 2011, 08:35:38 PM
Alrighty,

Finally got around to building a Sunking. I haven't messed around too much with swapping the diodes out. Right now I've got the 1n270s in there. Those two diodes are socketed as well as the cap at the tone pot. I'll mess around later. I think this thing sound pretty good with the stock BOM. Anywho, here are the pics. Graphics are etched. Probably some of my cleanest guts, but still trying to improve that.

Nice looking build!

I have the BAT41 in mine (as the build docs recommend) but have heard really good things about the LM313H diodes which I want to try.  I must say that this is not a pedal for Fenders...I am highly unimpressed with what it sounds like on my Blues Deluxe.  I am going to try it tonight on my Marshall 2555SL and Egnater Renegade set for a slightly dirty.  Great job man!

Nice man!  I imagine it would take a bit of squeezing to get it into the 1590B... Minotaur is an excellent name 8)

That is a classy build right there mate.

I like the black border on the side of the enclosure.
