Just a fun thread on visually ugly pedals. They can be ugly in a good way or a bad way. ;D
I'll start with this hideous looking beast...

Or any of the Jetter pedals IMO.
I think Source Audio takes this one

haha to each their own I guess! :P
I'm all for unique as long as they look good and practical as well...I just can't get to like them at all...they are made of cheap plastic plus they are HUGE! I feel like I could get those at Toys R' Us...haha alright, I'll stop bashing on these, my bad :D
BTW, those Rivera pedals are ugly but they actually sound pretty cool! 8)

I have nothing to contribute atm. I just wanted to say I have that exact chorus pedal here and it actually sounds pretty dang good. The top mounted pots are horrible though. Terrible, ugly design.
Ibanez tube king....

Yeah, all the other dano's actually look cool in my opinion, and all are a purdy good value
when you think about it...pedals are really the ugliest thing of guitar gear. But they are meant to be stepped on
speaking of Ibanez, my friend has one of these. He called it a tube screamer and I was like "No, a Tube Screamer"

And what pray tell does a "VOID" knob do? Sounds like it takes a dump :headscratch:
The first ever non-kit pedal I made. All the wires are 80 miles long, none of the holes in the right places, pots too big, etc. Still sounded pretty good. But by christ it was a mess.

:o
My god ha ha!
nah that is the coolest looking pedal ever. The long wires "add to the tone by removing nasty unwanted high frequencies ... blah blah blah snake oil blah blah"
if it's got a toob, that equals more than enough mojo to offset ugliness. most of the time. see that ibanez tube king...i wanna know how you turn those top two knobs
You must have spent a fortune on wire for that tube pedal Juan!!
I think this thing sounds 100% better than it looks..

Yeah it was an absolute rats nest of a thing. I'm a bit better at those now...
