Title: more gain in the channel of HIGH Boneyard.
Post by: andregarcia57 on July 29, 2011, 10:23:57 PM
I built the project you have in Carl Martin http://freestompboxes.org/index.php that uses a 15v transformer, and rode with 9v Boneyard.
I thought that CM has 15v has more gain.
is to increase the gain of the channel Boneyard HIGH?
I await suggestions
grateful
Andre

increase the value of the pot, or put a resistor in series with the pot (ie connect to lug 1 and the board). I would start with something like 500k (resistor) and go up or down from there. I think they make 2M pots which would work probably.

OK...

I'm thinking of using 47R resistor R5 is, this increases gain?

I haven't built this but I know that value is wrong on the BOM. At the bottom of this thread they are discussing what to change it to. http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=2117.0

I changed the resistor 47R to gain more and really improved the bass is still slightly below 12v project, which I need to change to increase bass?
I have the two pedals sound more different. 9v and 12v.
