Title: help for deadringer fulldrive switche...
Post by: giudis on July 14, 2011, 03:27:11 PM
hi friends,

this spdt is ok for the fulldrive? http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?category=ALL&keyword=spdt&no=792&param_referer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.smallbearelec.com%2FCategories.bok&searchpath=2936990

if not, what spdt I have to buy?

That looks like the right one. You'll also need one of the DPDT switches w/ the on/on/on configuration. Like this one->http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=900

Edit: Just saw you got a reply in the next thread.  :)

yes bigmufff,

but thank you however!

two opinions is better than one! :)

the dpdt is already advised in the project, so my doubt was about the spdt.
now I can order both!

thanks again!

No problem! I didn't see that link posted on the doc originally. I was going by the BOM. Here's a great article about switches so you'll have more idea what your looking for.  :)

I'd also read the rest of that site!!

wow great page! thanks buddy

so if wanna use a switch in an other project, a phaser, and I need the possibility to off the 22k resistence of feedback, I could use a spst?

If your disconnecting something from say ground, you can use the SPST switch that only has 2 lugs since your trying to omit a value and it won't create an open. If you wanna replace it with a jumper use the 3 lug spst switch.

:) thanks

so I'd use this... http://www.beavisaudio.com/techpages/Switches/SwitchingComponents.gif

spdt with 3 lugs using a jumper and the 22k.

Yup easy as that! That site really has a wealth of information. I revisit every few months and pick up more technical stuff.
