Title: Deadringer boost switch
Post by: GuitarManiac32 on July 12, 2011, 04:51:12 PM
Hi everyone!

I finished building the Deadringer, but I have a question about the boost switch. Can I use a DPDT switch or does it have to be 3PDT? I just wired a DPDT switch for the boost but it doesn´t work right. The pedal does sound really great but the boost isn´t working. I guess the easiest solution would be changing the switch but if a DPDT would work...

Thanks for the help in advance!

The boost switch can be DPDT, in fact if you didnt want to use a boost indicator LED you could even use a SPDT footswitch. That's strange that it doesn't work. Double check your switch wiring and that the boost pot is in there okay.
