Title: snack shack -SUSTAIN?????
Post by: HM on July 08, 2011, 05:00:17 PM
hello, could someone tell me that we needed to change to make this pedal has more sustain, the notes are cut and do not know why .. is armed with all the components that make the pdf.
I thought that if there is any resistance varied, you can achieve more sustain
the problem will be the Bc182? I did 4 pedals, and all sound the same with little sustain ..
I hope some information thanks

Did you take note of Brian's build notes? The layout is made for a transistor with an E-B-C pinout at position Q2. If you used the BC182L, which is E-C-B, you will have to bend the the base and collector legs around each other (without touching!) so the device pinout matches the board layout. Or substitute a different transistor in Q2 (such as another 2N3904) that has the E-B-C pinout.
