Title: Snarkdoodle - "SW"?
Post by: cleanclang on June 24, 2010, 11:07:26 AM
Stupid question coming up...  ::)

On the Snarkdoodle PCB, what's the hole marked 'SW' for?

I'd say it's coming from the stomp switch to turn the LED on/off. You can see it goes to the LED and the circuit then goes from the LED to R6 (the LED resistor).

that's right. that project document doesn't have a wiring diagram, but if you look at any other project docs where the LED is onboard, you can see how Brian wires them. the "SW" gets soldered to the 1A lug of the 3PDT (top left corner) with that method.
