Hi all. I was just looking at the baby board guide that Brian put out. In it he uses low profile 1/4" jacks that came from Smallbear. I just checked and it doesn't seem like they still carry them. Do any of you have a source for these?
Here they are, but honestly I'm not a big fan of them myself. That being said, they will give you the most wiggle room if that is what you are after:

You could always use the lumberg/Kobiconn style open framed jacks for your build. Paul has them is stock:

These wouls also work but would require careful drilling due to the size (I believe pickdropper typically uses this style)...

Thanks Jon. I searched Smallbear and didn't see those. Maybe I'll throw a couple into the cart and see if I like them.
I do have a question though. It looks like those are plastic. Doesn't the jack have to ground to the enclosure?

Hello Bill, The jacks don't "have to" ground to the enclosure, but the enclosure needs to be grounded to the circuit so with plastic jacks you'd need to come up with another scheme to ground the enclosure to the circuit.. The plastic jacks' grounds and the enclosure ground would be seperately wired to circuit ground where with the metal jacks, they are hopefully solidly connected to the enclosure (starwasher) so the jack ground wire will also ground the enclosure.
With metal jacks you'll often see only one of the jacks ground connected to circuit ground relying on the enclosure to complete the ground connection to the other jack.
