I'm having a small bass pedalboard put together for me at http://chumleyspedalboards.com/. Talked about it in another thread: would do it myself if I didn't live in an apartment and could do woodworking yadda yadda yadda :)
That said, I can trick it out if it's useful. What are your most useful pedal board mods/innovations? This is going to be a smallish 13.5x12 slanted board made of wood with handles. I'm going to add a diy power brick underneath. It's got in/out jacks and I was thinking of adding a buffer/blend to the in/outs since this is for bass.
Anything else useful that people have done?
A useful one I saw and will probably do at some point is flexible reading lights like this;

so you can see where things are set on a dark stage.
Also I don't know if it's what you mean by power brick but a multi-tap plug socket is useful to have.
