Title: Millenium bypass for normal size dpdt daughter board
Post by: Luke51411 on February 28, 2015, 05:15:55 PM
So I ordered midwayfair's millenium bypass boards from oshpark not realizing they were for the mini dpdt switches. Is there one for the standard size? I found this one from IvIark but I can't tell if it's regular or mini https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/ShjR7qJR (https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/ShjR7qJR) I'll probably order mini switches in the future but I have 3 big ones and the lugs don't fit through perf.

What "normal sized" DPDT do you mean? Mine was for an alpha switch solder lugs or PCB mount, which is pretty common, and was linked in the build doc. Are you talking about the gigantic cheap ones that Tayda sells, or the huge carling switches used in wahs? I'd hestitate to describe anything except the blue 3PDTs as "standard" when it comes to footswitches.

I have the giant tayda ones. The one tayda describes as mini is what I used but I only had one. I wanted to order from BLMS but it looks like they only have the giant ones
