Title: NAMM: Korg Nutubes
Post by: eldanko on January 30, 2015, 04:46:13 PM
Ya'll seen these yet?

Can't exactly ascertain the size of the thing, but the bit about power consumption suggests that these could be pretty pedal-friendly.

Echobret just sent me a link to those. This could be so cool.

Very cool! Can't wait to see the results from the first products to use it.

This is big! I mean in impact, not size. I wonder how much they would cost. I guess, Korg has it patented and is the sole user/distributor. It will surely take some time to make those available to the masses, but when the time comes, I'll be ready!

Love the concept. But so far, the info is light on details.

I think this is the 5th or 6th time I've seen a press release announcing a product that is really similar to vacuum tubes. Still no real replacement is available.

I'm interested, but skeptical. ;)

I wonder if they could shrink power tubes or if this only would work for pre amp tubes with lower amps going through...
if it will appear in reality anyway...
Sounds exciting though.
