Title: Fuzzjelly factory
Post by: night-B on May 24, 2011, 09:18:36 AM
I know it's not an exciting build, since I've given my fuzz factory clone (built from a poor quality kit), I wanted to try the zombii.
I've built it with 16mm pots, hand selected nos ac128, and I ran out of led bezel so this will be added soon.
Compared to the kit I built, the ac128 loaded zombii sounds fantastic!
Even if it's not my favorite fuzz, as I like to play some Muse sometimes, and get squealing tones, it will stay on my board.
I've painted the enclosure with red transparent paint, silver spray can, and quick labelling with paint pens.
I don't wanted to spend much time on the enclosure this time...

Cool!! I understand what you mean about not wanting to spend to much time on the enclosure. I have at least 20 unboxed circuits that may never find a proper home..

In completely different tones, I love the retrograde and the snackshack. One is pure vintage, the other is almost like a distortion. I'll build a fuzz face soon, and I love the demos of the skreddy lunar module so it's on it's way to my pedalboard too  ;D
